What is Opticare?

OptiCare's admin platform is an all-in-one SaaS solution with AI-driven features designed to simplify clinic operations. It provides tools to track patient activity, monitor sales performance, and analyze trends through an intuitive dashboard.

By optimizing revenue opportunities and addressing daily challenges, Opticare empowers managers to make informed decisions and improve overall clinic efficiency.

After working in the optometry industry for over four years, I noticed recurring challenges that clinic managers and staff face daily, such as time-consuming operations, lack of automation, and missed revenue opportunities. Existing software often failed to address these needs effectively, leaving clinics with inefficient workflows and limited data insights.

I created Opticare to bridge these gaps. With its AI-driven features and intuitive design, OptiCare simplifies operations, automates repetitive tasks, and uncovers valuable opportunities for growth, allowing clinics to focus on providing exceptional patient care.

User Interview

To design a solution that truly addresses the challenges faced by clinic managers, I conducted user interviews with administrators and decision-makers in optometry clinics. These sessions focused on understanding their daily workflows, pain points, and the tools they rely on to manage clinic operations.

The Dashboard centralizes clinic operations, offering tools like the AI Assistant to automate tasks and reduce manual work. Real-time features like Appointments Overview, Clinic Flow, Patient Breakdown, and Exam Statistics help streamline workflows and track performance effortlessly.

This simplifies managing doctor availability with an interactive calendar and a detailed doctor list. Admins can view individual schedules or see all doctors' schedules at once for easy comparison. This eliminates manual tracking, saving time and ensuring efficient schedule management.

The Reports system offers daily stats in a flexible card or table view, covering exams, follow-ups, and emergencies. A Revenue Card highlights daily earnings, providing clear, actionable insights for quick decision-making.

The Clinic Overview tracks performance and revenue with features like a Monthly Revenue Graph, breaking down income by services, and Revenue Comparisons across different timeframes. The AI Suggestions section offers actionable, data-driven recommendations to maximize revenue and automate follow-ups efficiently.

AI Suggestions seamlessly integrate into the platform, offering data-driven insights to optimize clinic operations, enhance patient engagement, and maximize revenue opportunities.

Result & Impact

Time Savings: Automating tasks like bulk emails, text reminders, and patient flow tracking can save clinics hours every week, allowing staff to focus on patient care.

Revenue Growth: With AI-driven insights, clinics can identify overlooked opportunities like restock reminders or benefit optimization, unlocking additional revenue streams.​

Improved Efficiency: Real-time dashboards and dynamic reports streamline operations, ensuring that admins can make data-driven decisions quickly and effectively.

Enhanced User Experience: A clean, intuitive interface reduces friction for admin, enabling them to navigate tasks effortlessly.

This software has the potential to evolve with features like

3. Scheduled Report Delivery automatically sends reports at set intervals.
