What is Opticare?
OptiCare’s staff platform is designed to streamline daily clinic tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. With an easy-to-use interface, staff members can quickly manage patient invoices, update records, and stay on top of essential tasks.
By addressing the unique challenges faced by clinic staff, OptiCare enhances productivity, reduces errors, and ensures a seamless experience for both patients and staff.
Clinic staff are at the heart of daily operations, yet they often face time-consuming and repetitive tasks, manual processes, and disorganized workflows. These challenges not only add stress but also reduce the time available to focus on providing excellent patient care.
OptiCare’s staff platform was designed to eliminate these inefficiencies. By automating repetitive tasks like invoicing, record management, and task prioritization, the platform empowers staff to work more efficiently while reducing errors. By addressing the unique challenges of clinic staff, OptiCare creates a better experience for both the team and the patients they serve.

The Problem ❗️
Optometry clinic staff face several challenges that hinder efficiency and productivity:

Difficulty in accessing patient data quickly.

Outdated and cumbersome interfaces, leading to unnecessary delays, increased errors, and frustration.

Limited automation for routine tasks such as cancellations, reminders, and follow-ups.

Inefficient appointment booking process.
The Solution In Action 💡





The Bottom Bar in the patient file keeps all the important patient information such as appointments, insurance, billing, and communication in one place. This makes it easier for staff to find what they need and stay on top of their tasks.
Next Steps
This is an ongoing project, and I am currently focusing on:
1. Designing detailed exam charts and specialty testing charts to better capture patient data and streamline processes.
2. Expanding AI functionalities to assist with predictive scheduling and automate staff tasks.
3. Continuously gathering feedback to refine and enhance the platform's usability and efficiency.
